Spiritual Trip at Talasari and Govardhan Eco Village

A spiritual trip is not just about visiting new places—it is about creating meaningful memories, deepening friendships, and experiencing Krishna consciousness together.

Our mentor, Manmohan Krishna Prabhuji, took a group of 7–10 regular youth participants on a memorable trip from ISKCON Juhu to Talasari Gaushala, Palghar, located around 120 km from Mumbai. The journey itself was filled with kirtan, laughter, conversations and fun. We prepared sandwiches together and distributed them as prasadam, turning the bus ride into a joyful spiritual experience.

At Talasari, we participated in cow seva, group chanting, kirtan, yajna, Bhagavad Gita class, bullock cart rides and volleyball, along with enjoying the swimming pool. We also learned about traditional practices, including the preparation of ghee. The combination of seva, learning and recreation made the experience both meaningful and enjoyable.

On our way back, we visited Govardhan Eco Village, a beautiful spiritual and sustainable community inspired by Vrindavan. After having delicious prasadam, we explored the surroundings while discussing Krishna katha and His pastimes, followed by kirtan.

The return journey was once again filled with kirtan, conversations and rest.

What made this trip special was not just the places we visited, but the association, spiritual learning, seva and joyful friendships we experienced along the way.

A journey that began with travel became a journey of connection—with Krishna, with devotees, and with one another.
